Making existing buildings sustainable

Almost 20% of all CO2 emissions in the Netherlands come from energy consumption in houses. The task is therefore to reduce these emissions. Green hydrogen can play a vital role in that. Not only for new builds but also for existing houses (98% of houses in the Netherlands). Hylife Innovations is committed to versatile solutions for the built environment.

Shared mobility on district level

Shared mobility on district level

Living and mobility are inextricably linked. And more so in the countryside where the mutual distances are generally much greater, as is the need to have a car. In the Havenstadt new housing estate in Stad aan ’t Haringvliet, we have provided the neighbourhood residents with two fully electric cars. The project developer Wonen op Flakkee included integrated mobility in the district at the design stage. Shared mobility at district level reduces the need for a (second) car. This also provides more opportunities to develop high-quality public spaces. At the same time, this approach with electric vehicles encourages sustainable mobility. A win-win situation.
